Updates

Below is a list of the most requested enhancements that have been implemented in the latest version of Oberon. If you wish to request an update, please go to the Comments page and select "Request Update" under category. Each updated version has a readme.txt file that should be read before installing. If so desired, a consultant can be sent on-site. If you wish to see previous releases, please look at the Archives.

Release 4.01, April 21, 1999

Envelope/Label Support - Each of the Oberon letters now has an option to print to standard business envelopes or Avery Labels sheets.
Letter Tokens - Letter format can be easily changed to insert or delete desired tokens (such as the dealership address, dealership name, sales representative, etc.). This function is needed to accommodate letters that are being printed on dealership letterhead, or any other time when you do not want certain demographic information repeated in the letter.
Detachable Reports - Reports are now separate from the Oberon program executable, so report updates can be more easily obtained.
Print to File - Reports can now be printed to file instead of to a printer.
Letter Head Support - Now all reports can be printed with dealership logos, watermarks, etc.

Future Enhancements

Below is a list of the current enhancements that have been requested by dealerships. They are currently being implemented in Oberon, but have not yet reached completion. If you do not see an enhancement here that you wish to see in the future, please go to the Comments page and select "Enhancement Idea" under category.
Compressed Backup - Allows all data to be saved as a single file from the main menu.
Spell Checker - On customer notes and letters, integrates spell checker use.
Report Reader - A distinct application from Oberon that allows reading of reports saved to an Oberon file.
