List of painful disorders

Pain is perhaps the most common of all conplaints and it can be divided into:

  1. Acute (having been present for only a short time: say less than 2 weeks duration)
  2. Chronic (lasting more than 2 weeks)

General Principles for the Use of the HealthPoint in Pain Relief

  1. Always treat local tender points which the Chinese call Ah Shi (literally translated this means "ouch") points.
  2. In acute conditions treat daily, in some instances it is beneficial to treat hourly to begin with. If discomfort returns within a short period after treatment, repeat the treatment as often as necessary.
  3. In chronic conditions treat daily until the condition improves, then two or perhaps three times weekly. Intervals between treatments can be increased as the condition further improves.
