Neck Pain - Stiffness
Neck pain is most commonly due to arthritis, sometimes called cervical spondylosis. A qualified osteopathic
or chiropractic's opinion is often helpful in the treatment of this problem. HealthPoint
however, can be a highly effective method of treatment.
Shoulder Pain - Frozen
This is a common problem and should be treated vigorously. If shoulder pain is left for more than a month
then a frozen shouder (chronic strain) may ensue. Stiffness of the joint and pain become troublesome features.
In a chronically painful and stiff shoulder physiotherapy is a usual approach to treatmens. Now
HealthPoint is an alternative option for treating the pain.
Tennis Elbow
This is due to inflammation of the muscle at the point where it joins the bone at the outer edge of the Humerus.
Tennis elbow can be caused by a blow, but it's usually a repetitive motion injury. The forearm muscles are not
strong enough to sustain the repetitive motions, and eventually the elbow tendons tear, causing the characteristic
sharp pain.
Wrist Pain - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
This is most often due to strain caused by excessive use. It can occasionally be due to arthritis (most commonly
rheumatoid arthritis). Carpal Tunnel syndrome is a condition that is due to compression of the median nerve which
passes deep to the front surface of the wrist. When compressed this gives rise to painful tingling sensations in the
thumb, index, middle and part of the ring finger. HealthPoint is an effective way of
treating this.
Hand, Fingers Pain
The most common hand pain is due to Osteo-arthritis, injury or, when it is acute or chronic, rhreumatoid
arthritis.
