Eye Pain

Eye pain occurs for many reasons, but is perhaps most commonly associated with migraine where the pain appears to be behind the eyes. If this becomes chronic a qualified ophthalmologic opinion is essential.

Jaw Pain - TMJ

This is sometimes accompanied by tempromandibulur arthitis. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) has been recognized only during the last decade. Today TMJ is still considered controversial because it has no single cause. The following are some causes for misallignment of the jaw:

  • Postural problems
  • Physical stresses (toothgrinding)
  • Cradling the phone between the shoulder and jaw]
  • Poorly fitting teeth.
  • A blow to the jaw of chin
  • Whiplash
The problem involves not only the temporomandibular joint but also the nerves and muscles of the head, neck, and shoulders. Treatment with HealthPoint is often highly effective.

    Earache

Earache can arise from a variety of causes, if it is an infection, with a discharge, antibiotics are probably needed. If treated early enough with the HealthPoint it can often be resolved without resorting to medication.

    Facial Neuralgia

This condition is also sometimes called trigeminal neuralgia. It is characterised bny a severe stabbing, often lancing, pain which can occur in various parts of the face. In some cases its severiy can even make eating and talking difficult.
